TRANSIERRA NORTE

October 26th-31st 2021

Welcome to the fifth edition of Transierra Norte Enduro race in Oaxaca, Mexico. The day of the dead race. This project is the result of a dream and passion for mountain bike riding in which we have dedicated part of our life in order to share the best times you will ever have on a bike, tied up with one of the most authentic cultural experience Mexico has to offer, “The Day of The Dead”.

Transierra Norte will challenge advanced and expert riders on a 4-day backcountry and blind race adventure where their fitness, riding, and navigation skills will be tested over the most fun and natural tracks Mexico has to offer. Expect more than 15 stages with a great variety of terrain from 7 km length trails and more than 3000 m of descending every day on loamy skinny single track to the most natural loose and rocky corners your brakes and hands can ever imagine. The singletrack in the Sierra Norte of Oaxaca has been recognized by several International riders as some of the best trails they have ever been on.

4 Day Blind Mountain Bike Enduro Race

This event promise to wrap on a lifetime bike adventure with the most authentic culture and traditions that this region has to offer. This unreal adventure will start in the beautiful and magical city of Oaxaca, the venue of many national Enduro races.

The meeting point and packet pick up on October 26th will be at the base hotel where we will load up bikes to the shuttles and head up to the woods into our first descent and give start a 4-day race party!

With the intention of making your stay in Mexico better the Transierra Norte team will be offering cultural and riding tours the days prior to the race, riding different areas of Oaxaca, visiting Zapotec temples, and enjoying a post-ride visit to a Mezcal Distillery. info@transierranorte.com
